The DarkSide, set in historic and mysterious New Orleans, features an ensemble case of characters revolving around two primary figures: Reed Hackman and Maggie Drake. Below you will find a short biography of all the characters, as well as an artists rendition of the character.

Reed Hackman is a policeman with a mission. While he is not naive enough to think he can rid the streets of New Orleans of crime, he dedicates himself everyday to eliminating as much of it as he can. When he begins investigating the Peter Kerigan murder, he has no idea down what winding roads it will take him down. The first begins with meeting a mysterious young woman. The rest is up to fate.

Maggie Drake longs for a normal life. Instead, she faces everyday knowing that she must do her father's bidding. Whether that entails running a store, dealing with real estate, or handing out punishment, nothing in Maggie's life is her own. As her family sinks deeper and deeper into peril, she must survive, which is what she does best. Still, her hope burns eternal.
