Another culture and economy is born on several colonies, providing golden opportunities to those who know how to take advantage. Technological advances allow wonders never dreamed of by mortal man. And yet, life is not so easy...

Gayle Darwin owns and administers the Gossamer Wings, a state of the art space transport ship. She ferries dignitaries, tourists, and the ultra rich, in addition to her cargo, from station to station and planet to planet. But the dangers and surprises that the government concealed from her could overflow the Grand Canyon.

Every voyage is a new adventure.

The On Gossamer Wings cast consists of a core of characters who inhabit the ship. The list will undoubtably grow as the crew has more adventures.

Gayle Darwin

Gayle Darwin was headed on a track to make a run for president of the United State of America. After bogging down in the morass of Washington D.C. politics and a deadend relationship, she needed a way out. She found it in a mountain sized space ship and a dream to turn the potential of the space economy into a reality.

Instead of becoming president, she started her own company and set out on her own, with the government breathing down her neck. Cold and aloof at times, Gayle is looking for more than money in her journey, even if she doesn't realize it.

Norman Jones

Once a Marine, always a Marine. Norman Jones thought he'd be a career military man. That was until a better offer came along. After serving on ships ferrying government officials to and from Mars, he couldn't pass up the opportunity to captain a starship of his own.

Gayle Darwin came into his life under his protection and later offered him the job of a lifetime: Captain of the Gossamer Wings. Though young and inexperienced, Norman's bravado and confidence make up for any other failings he might have.

Cooper Gray

After a youth spent on the tough streets of Houston, Texas, Cooper Gray did anything and everything he had to for survival. He lived the hard life and became involved with the criminal element. Eventually, he made a move for the semi-straight life and bought a small space transport ship. He managed to squeak out an existence, although not without being forced to revert to his old ways.

Alexa Petrov

A former flight attendant, Alexa Petrov was used to serving passengers at high altitude. She met Gayle Darwin on one of her many flights back and again from Washington, DC. The women became friends in a fast moving world.

When Gayle set her mind to forming a transportation company to move passengers and cargo, she could think of no one better than Alexa to care for her passengers. Alexa needed a boost of confidence, but she eventually accepted and took that first great step into space.

Zora Choi

Alexa Petrov also met Zora Choi on a plane ten years ago. They were close friends from the start. Zora practiced as a top heart surgeon since earning her medical stripes, never backing down, or failing at a challenge.

Despite her successes, Zora feels an empty space in her heart that she wishes to fill. To search for her missing piece, Zora approached Gayle about the medical position on the Gossamer Wings after Alexa reported her commitment to join the crew.

Ricardo Benitez

Considered retirement age by NASA, Ricardo decided he had charted the stars and developed space crafts from Earth for long enough. At 67, he had once hoped to be retired with his wife. After her death, he set adrift until eventually running into a job on the Gossamer Wings.
